King of Pop's takeover leads to some head-scratching song choices.

"Glee" paid tribute to Michael Jackson during Tuesday night's episode and, shockingly, kept the story moving along in the midst of several MJ-inspired musical numbers. Kurt, Rachel and Quinn all received great news about college, Rachel finally accepted Finn's proposal and evil Sebastian's plot to harm Kurt with a doctored slushee backfired when Blaine took the hit for his boyfriend.<div class="player-placeholder right" title="'Glee'-Cap: Michael Jackson Takes Over McKinley High" id="vid:730282.id:1671179" width="240" height="211"></div>Yet the forced "all Michael, all the time" song selection led to some head-scratching scenes including Kurt, Rachel and Finn serenading an injured Blaine with Jackson's love song to a rat, "Ben," and two different music-video re-enactments only appealed to Jackson superfans. Lisa Vanderpump of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is really sad about her former home, which was featured on the show, being lost in a fire on Friday.

"I'm shocked, really," she told KCAL-TV. "It's been an incredible journey coming to America and living in that house. My daughter got married in that house."

"I'm pretty emotional about it even though I sold it a few months ago."

The massive home, which appears in the opening credits of the Bravo reality show, was featured many times on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

As Lisa said, her daughter Pandora tied the knot on its grounds.

"She got married there in the fall, as everybody who watched RHBOH saw, and it was amazing, and that's what I want to think of it," Vanderpump said.

The fire was reported at about 6:30 p.m. Friday night, according to the LAFD. More than 100 firefighters responded to extinguish the massive flames.

A portion of the roof and portions of the floors collapsed due to the fire, the cause of which is unknown. One firefighter was hospitalized but no one died.

Vanderpump and husband Kenneth Todd downsized recently to a smaller home, selling the place for $19 million after their adult children moved out.

Lisa, Camille Grammer, Taylor Armstrong, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, Adrianne Maloof and Brandi Glanville return to the Bravo show later this year.

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey — The "year of 4" continues.Four months after giving birth to her first child — an arrival announced last August <a href="/news/articles/1669858/beyonce-vma-performance.jhtml">at the MTV VMAs</a> — <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyoncé</a> returned to the stage Saturday night, on the second of a four-night run in this East Coast resort city. And it was a spectacular fitting her rising icon status.<div class="player-placeholder right" title="Beyonce Gets Back To Business, Kicks Off Summer!" id="vid:785342" width="415" height="255"></div>So what kinds of clues get 20somethings calling you "the greatest performer" of your generation? Well, it's in the details. For one, Revel, the sparkling, 6.3-million-square-foot beachfront destination that played host to <a href="/news/articles/1685877/beyonce-memorial-day-atlantic-city-concert.jhtml">Beyoncé's comeback</a>, devoted a channel on its guest-room flat-screen TVs solely to B-related content: no weather broadcasts, nary a "Housewife" and no commercial breaks; just videos, all-star performances and more, all through Memorial Day weekend. It was evident in the distance traveled, too, with fans telling MTV News they'd made cross-country pilgrimages, while still others came from as far as Tokyo and South Africa to hail Queen B.But those are just the hints, peripheral proof. The presence of First Lady Michelle Obama at last night's concert left little doubt that the little girl from Houston, who joined a girl group and then struck out on her own, had seen another benchmark in her relatively young career. After <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/04/13/michelle-obama-thanks-beyonce-for-letter">exchanging letters</a> in recent months, with each calling the other a role model for girls, Obama turned up in a sleeveless green sheath waving like royalty from a balcony in Ovation Hall.A little after 10 p.m., as the pounding opening march from "End of Time" kicked in, Beyoncé appeared in silhouette; the sequins were hard to make out but the wind-blown mane was impossible to miss. Finally, B, stunning in hot pink Stuart Weitzman heels and a beaded body suit, appeared on the massive stage backed by her dancers."Atlantic City, snap your fingers," she commanded, launching into "Love on Top." Without missing a step of the New Edition-inspired choreography, B powered through the song's modulations in an extended vocal showcase. Then she took an exaggerated pause, as if to catch her breath (or to bask in the adulation?), before belting out a final coda. The 30-year-old's comeback was officially under way.Pushing through hits from her debut solo effort, including "Naughty Boy" and the dancehall-infused "Baby Boy," and Sasha Fierce smashes like "Diva," B defied all post-partum laws as she kept pace with Frank Gatson's acrobatic dance style. ("Y'all don't know how hard I had to work. I had to lose 60 pounds!" she laughed to the crowd later. "They had me eating lettuce.") And just as songs like "Single Ladies" and "Run the World (Girls)" are meant to serve as empowerment manuals for women, it became clear last night that Beyoncé's choreography is meant to do the same: a series of sensual quickstep moves that revolve around the hips and legs. It showed in the Fosse-style swing and formations on songs like "Get Me Bodied," and the strut-heavy footwork on "Freakum Dress.""Sasha Fierce disappeared, but y'all bringing her back," B joked midway through the euphoric two-hour set.For one of our favorite numbers, "Party," the 4 singer donned full-on showgirl regalia in a heady rendition that saw confetti coming from the roof and dice-shaped beach balls being tossed through the crowd as dancers in large feathered headdresses magically turned up in the aisles.There were ballads, of course, at Ovation Hall, the more memorable among them a tribute to Whitney Houston and a cover of Lauryn Hill's classic "Ex Factor." For that reason, while Bieber remains the star of the release, it's hard not to hear the ladies and gentlemen who worked with the 18-year-old. The collaborations stand as one of the hallmarks of the album.<img src="http://www.mtv.com/shared/promoimages/bands/b/bieber_justin/infographic_6_degrees/sixdegrees.jpg"><a href="/news/articles/1687691/justin-bieber-believe-album-details.jhtml">Believe</a> sounds like a who's who of music's A-list elite, who give Bieber the backup he needs to make a <a href="/news/articles/1687569/justin-bieber-live-evolution.jhtml">more mature musical statement</a>. With names like Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, Drake and his old pal Ludacris all making cameos, their appearances are highlighted by production credits with pop and hip-hop masters like Diplo, Rodney Jerkins, the Messengers, Mike Posner, Max Martin and Hit-Boy.Looking at the roster of talent who wanted to work with the maturing pop stud, you find they are mostly artists and producers who have not only been circling Bieber for some time, but also each other.In fact, it's easy to connect these folks in six degrees of separation: Drake and Nicki Minaj are no strangers to working with one another, having appeared most recently on "Make Me Proud" off Drake's Take Care. Nicki has also hooked up with Hit-Boy for several tracks on her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. And, Hit-Boy's association with G.O.O.D. Music was famously catalogued on Jay-Z's and Kanye West's "N---as in Paris," which makes him a close, personal friend of Big Sean. Big Sean's Believe track, "As Long As You Love Me," got the production treatment from Rodney Jerkins, who previously worked with Ludacris on his song "What Them Girls Like," which brings us back to Bieber: Bieber and Luda originally laid the foundation for a beautiful friendship on the teen's defining tune "Baby."Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, explained the generation of all of the collaborations to MTV News:"Kanye was like, 'You should get Big Sean on that record.' And we're close with Sean, and Sean just jumped on there. It was very natural," Braun recalled. "Luda, of course, we did 'Baby.' We played 'All Around the World,' and we were like, 'Who would make sense?' And Justin's like, 'Luda would kill it.'"Nicki was getting on another one of our records, and then we did 'Beauty and the Beat,' and she heard it, and she was like, 'I want to get on that.' And, actually, we were gonna put Usher on it at first, but then we heard Nicki's verse, and we were like, 'Damn.' "Of course, those collaborations came up a bit more spur of the moment, but there's one that had been long in-the-works. "The Drake thing is something he and Drake have been talking about for like two years," Braun said. "And then they finally went into the studio, and they wrote that song together. ... I'm glad that 'Right Here' came about. ... Drake was like, 'I don't want to do just a rap song. I want to sing with you, do a song for the ladies.' Most <a href="/news/articles/1687988/justin-bieber-believe-album-sales.jhtml">predicted it</a>, and now it's official: Justin Bieber's Believe scored the year's biggest chart debut, selling more than 374,000 copies and blasting the competition on the Billboard Top 200.Believe — Bieber's fourth album to debut at #1 — slightly edged Madonna's MDNA, which sold 359,000 copies when it was released in late March, to claim the title of year's biggest bow, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It's also the best first-week number any album has posted since Adele's 21 rode a <a href="/news/articles/1679279/adele-grammy-awards-2012.jhtml">post-Grammy surge</a> to sales of more than 729,000 copies in February.<div class="player-placeholder right" title="'Bieber Live'" id="id:1687833" width="415" height="255"></div>Bieber's album also sold nearly twice the copies as its closest competition, Kenny Chesney's Welcome to the Fishbowl, which opens at #2 on the chart with an impressive 193,000 copies in its first week of release. Usually that number is more than enough to take #1, but not this week. Fiona Apple's first album in seven years, <a href="/news/articles/1686557/fiona-apple-idler-wheel-btts.jhtml">The Idler Wheel,</a> debuts at #3, selling nearly 72,000 copies, followed by another returning alt icon, the Smashing Pumpkins, who sold more than 53,000 copies of their <a href="/news/articles/1687831/smashing-pumpkins-oceania-billy-corgan.jhtml">Oceania</a> to take #4. The "Rock of Ages" soundtrack rounds out the top five, selling nearly 49,000 copies.<a href="/news/articles/1687847/usher-billboard-looking-4-myself.jhtml">Usher, last week's chart champ</a> (and Bieber's mentor), is in at #6 with his Looking 4 Myself album, which sold 48,000 copies in its second week. Adele's aforementioned 21 lands at #7 (more than 47,000 copies sold), followed by One Direction's Up All Night (more than 41,000 sold) and Luke Bryan's Tailgates & Tanlines (nearly 28,000 sold). Rush's Clockwork Angels closes out the top 10, selling nearly 27,000 copies.Other debuts on the chart include the Dirty Heads' Cabin by the Sea, which opens at #18 with sales of nearly 18,000 copies, "Once" star Glen Hansard's Rhythm and Repose (#21, more than 16,000 copies sold) and the soundtrack to Pixar's "Brave," which bows at #33, with sales of nearly 12,000 copies.And while the story of this week's Billboard chart is unquestionably Bieber, next week could be a different story. He'll face challenges from both Linkin Park's <a href="/news/articles/1688422/linkin-park-living-things.jhtml">LIVING THINGS</a> and Maroon 5's <a href="/news/articles/1688438/maroon-5-overexposed.jhtml">Overexposed,</a> both of which could make his reign a short-lived one. Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe was detained in Prague this week. He could face 5-10 years in prison for an altercation at a 2010 show that allegedly left a fan dead.

Reports indicate the incident leading to the arrest of Blythe (full name D. Randall "Randy" Blythe) involved a man repeatedly rushing the stage from the crowd.

He was ejected from the stage and later died of head injuries, according to WTVR, the CBS News affiliate in Lamb of God's hometown of Richmond, Virginia.

Lamb of God canceled a show at the Rock Cafe in Prague Thursday after the singer was brought in for questioning; reports differ as to what happened next.

Some sources say Blythe was arrested and charged with "the crime of bodily harm of 4th degree and resulting in the death of a fan." The band's rep denies this.

Randy's brother, Mark Blythe, told WTVR that if manslaughter charge is actually filed, it is "bogus and outrageous and will be dropped immediately."

The band tweeted the hashtag #FreeRandyBlythe late Thursday. Blythe deleted his once extremely active personal Twitter account earlier this summer.

Maria Ferrero, the Grammy-nominated band's publicist, told MTV News that Lamb of God's management will not comment in full until Monday. However:

"As no formal charges have yet been made and the case is only in the investigation stages, it would be premature to make an official statement filled with false truths or innuendos."

"Having said that, management wished to address today one false piece of information that has been included in many of the news stories released so far."

"Under no circumstances was there a fight of any kind involved. This incident deals with a fan that three times during the concert jumped the barricade and rushed Randy during the performance. It is alleged that the third time, security was not able to reach him and that Randy pushed him back into the audience where supposedly he fell and hit his head."

"Again, until the investigation is concluded this weekend, nothing more will be released, but clarity and the facts needed to be addressed on this one reported point which is totally inaccurate."

The roaring Waldo Canyon fire that exploded into neighborhoods of Colorado Springs has destroyed 346 homes, making it the most destructive wildfire in state history.

It also has claimed at least one life, according to reports.

Colorado Springs Police Chief Pete Carey announced that human remains had been found in a burned home in the Mountain Shadows neighborhood.

Other individuals are also missing, he said. He said the deceased's body was found in the rubble and gave the address, but no further details.

Colorado Fires

Residents of the Mountain Shadows neighborhood were summoned to a meeting Thursday night at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

There, they learned with certainty which of their homes had survived and which had been consumed by the unprecedented firestorm this week.

Police Chief Pete Carey said police are still trying to track down the whereabouts of "less than 10" people who may be unaccounted for.

President Barack Obama was to tour fire-stricken areas Friday after issuing a disaster declaration for Colorado, releasing federal funds to help.

Rich Harvey, the incident commander in charge of the massive firefighting effort, said that at the very least, the wildfires were held at bay overnight, with no growth of the perimeter and no more houses lost since Thursday.

The fire was still only 15 percent contained as of Friday morning.

Months before the revamped <a href="/news/articles/1687014/britney-spears-demi-lovato-x-factor-auditions.jhtml">"X Factor"</a>  hits the air, we've already come to expect some serious drama from new judge <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/spears_britney/artist.jhtml">Britney Spears</a>. But in one of those only-in-reality-TV moments, Spears shed some genuine tears on Sunday during audition rounds in San Francisco when she was confronted with a voice and face from her distant past.<a href="http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20604974,00.html" target="_blank">People</a> magazine reported that Spears got emotional when a male contestant hit the stage at Oracle Arena, telling fellow panelists Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and fellow newbie Demi Lovato, "I know him ... We did a duet together 10 years ago." A source told the magazine that when the man stepped on the stage, "You could see that Britney recognized him straight away ... She got this huge smile on her face and her eyes lit up. It was so sweet."<div class="player-placeholder right" title="Britney Spears Explains Why She Wanted To Be A Part Of 'X Factor'" id="vid:769620" width="415" height="255"></div>While People did not reveal the man's identity, Spears superfan Jordan Miller of fan site <a href="http://www.breatheheavy.com/2012/06/don-philip-drama-at-the-x-factor/" target="_blank">Breathe Heavy</a> confirmed that the auditioner was none other than Don Philip. The one-time aspiring new pop revolution singer performed a duet with Britney on the treacly ballad "I Will Still Love You," from her 1999 debut album, ...Baby One More Time.A spokesperson for the show declined to comment on the singer's identity when asked for comment.The blast from her past got more emotional when Phillip revealed to the judges and audience, "I'm gay." He continued, "At the time I didn't think I was worth ... I didn't think you thought it was OK that I am gay." Spears was reportedly quick to voice her support for Phillip, saying, "I think it is fine you are gay."The unnamed source told People that when Phillip started crying and said, "he thought he'd never see her again and that he'd had a lot to deal with, Britney was comforting him to calm him." Though she was compassionate and warm with Phillip, the source said that the singer was clearly a bit shaken by the unexpected run-in."She's been through a lot in those 10 years, too, so it must have been a shock for her to see him," the source said. "You could tell she was emotional and she really felt for him especially when he was crying, but she also stayed calm." Even with the drama, Spears reportedly gave a very straightforward critique, though it is unknown if Phillip made the cut.Philip, a Miami, Florida, native who tried to ride the same late-'90s teen pop wave that made superstars out of Spears, Christina Aguilera, 'NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys, has spent the time since the duet grinding away at a music career that never reached the heights of his former singing partner. The one-time Jive Records star-in-the-making has sung back-up for Gloria Estefan and toured with Spears early in her career, and like "The Voice" singer <a href="/news/articles/1684782/the-voice-christina-aguilera-tony-lucca.jhtml">Tony Lucca</a>  and Aguilera, maybe he was hoping that a reunion with his former pop pal would provide the boost he's been looking for.Apparently, though, the "Factor" audition didn't go as Philip planned. I promise I only had good intentions in mind."He said his voice "froze" when he began to sing and was never able to recover from what he felt was a "really hardcore interrogation" from what he anonymously described as "two pompous arrogant men."He continued, "I guess I am not as tough skinned as I thought ... Wait it gets worse ... when I looked into the very eyes of my old label mate and saw she too was sad. I knew the whole situation was spinning out of control.. my heart broke."On Monday, Philip posted another note, wondering if Cowell might give him another shot, explaining that he was "so exhausted and could not sleep [the] night before," because he was so scared to face Spears.
